Sponsor. The Dogs in the Vineyard 2027 Calendar Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by G3 Enterprises, Inc. (“G3” or “Sponsor”).
Eligibility. The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and who are affiliated with a winery or vineyard, including employees, contractors, seasonal vineyard workers, and other personnel associated with such organizations (“Entrant” or “You”). Employees and contractors of G3 Enterprises, Inc., are not eligible to enter or win the contest.
Contest Period. The Contest consists of a photo submission phase and a public voting phase. Contest entries must be received by G3 by midnight (Pacific Standard Time) on July 15, 2026. Submit by email to G3.info@g3enterprises.com. Eligible photographs will be displayed for public voting on www.pollunit.com/polls/pIeNUuQRGp2rJccAlwPJwg. Voting by the public will open at 10 am PST on July 16, 2026 and end at midnight on August 7, 2026.
How to Enter. During the submission phase, eligible participants may submit one original, landscape-oriented digital image in jpeg format that features their dog or dogs and its owner in a vineyard setting. Entrants must also include with their submission: (1) dog and owner’s names, (2) winery or vineyard affiliation, (3) up to three sentences describing the dog, its owner, and the winery or vineyard where the owner works, and (4) contact phone number.
Photo Requirements. Submitted photographs must be original, must not infringe the rights of any third party, and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content. Sponsor reserves the right to reject any photograph that does not meet the technical specifications or that Sponsor determines is unsuitable for publication due to image quality, content, formatting, or other production considerations. Photo orientation must be landscape and photos must be submitted as high-resolution JPEG (.jpg) and have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) for print use; be at least 3,600 x 2,400 pixels (approximately 8.6 megapixels).
Voting.
Sponsor reserves the right to monitor voting activity and to disqualify any entry associated with suspected fraud, automated voting, vote-buying, manipulation, or other conduct that compromises the integrity of the Contest. In the event of a tie in voting, Sponsor shall select the winning photograph from among the tied entries based on Sponsor's evaluation of the photographs' quality, creativity, and suitability for inclusion in the 2027 calendar. Sponsor's decisions are final and binding.
Featured Dogs Announced. The thirteen (13) entries receiving the highest number of verified votes will be selected for inclusion in the 2027 Dogs in the Vineyard Calendar. The vineyard dog photo receiving the highest number of verified votes will be featured on the front cover of the 2027 G3 Dogs in the Vineyard Calendar. G3 will send a congratulatory email to entrants whose photos have been selected on or about August 10, 2026. Winners will receive copies of the 2027 calendar. No cash prize, monetary award, substitute prize, or other compensation will be provided.
License and Use of Submitted Photos. By entering the Contest, You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights necessary to submit the photograph and grant the rights described in these Contest Rules. You grant to G3 and its affiliates, successors, licensees, and designees a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit the submitted photograph, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, including calendars, websites, social media, advertising, promotional materials, press releases, marketing campaigns, and other commercial or non-commercial purposes, without additional compensation, notice, or approval. The rights granted herein are non-exclusive and irrevocable, and G3 shall have no obligation to exercise any of the rights granted by You. G3 may crop, resize, edit, enhance, reformat, combine with other content, add text or graphics to, or otherwise adapt any winning photograph for use in the calendar or other promotional materials, and further reserves sole discretion in determining the layout, design, sequencing, placement, cropping, editing, captioning, and month assignment of all winning photographs.
Rights of Individuals; Releases. By entering the Contest, You represent and warrant that any individual whose name, image, likeness, voice, appearance, or other identifying characteristic appears in a submitted photograph (each, a "Depicted Individual") has provided all permissions, consents, and releases necessary to permit G3 and its designees to use the photograph and the Depicted Individual's likeness as contemplated by these Contest Rules. You agree to obtain and maintain a written release from each Depicted Individual who is eighteen (18) years of age or older and, for any Depicted Individual under eighteen (18) years of age, a written release signed by such individual's parent or legal guardian.
By submitting a photograph, You represent and warrant that You have secured all such releases and permissions and will provide copies to G3upon request. G3 reserves the right to request proof of such permissions and to disqualify any entry if satisfactory proof is not provided.
You release and agree to hold harmless G3, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to the use of any submitted photograph, including claims for invasion of privacy, violation of publicity rights, defamation, false endorsement, copyright infringement, or any other claim arising from the appearance of a Depicted Individual in the photograph.
Publicity Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, You hereby grant to G3 and its affiliates, successors, assigns, licensees, and designees the perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, broadcast, transmit, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit Your name, image, likeness, photograph and biographical information submitted in connection with the Contest (collectively, the "Publicity Materials"), in whole or in part, in any manner and in any media or format now known or hereafter developed, including in connection with the Contest, the 2027 Dogs in the Vineyard Calendar if Your photo is selected for inclusion in the 2027 calendar, and in G3's advertising, marketing, promotional, public relations, corporate communications, websites, social media channels, publications, events, and other commercial or non-commercial activities, without further notice, approval, or compensation to You. G3 reserves the right to use all Publicity Materials even if Your photo is not selected for use in the 2027 Dogs in the Vineyard Calendar.
Submitted Materials; No Return of Entries. All photographs and other materials submitted in connection with the Contest become part of the Contest records and will not be returned or preserved by G3. You should retain original copies of all submitted materials. Notwithstanding the foregoing, G3 may retain and use submitted photographs and related materials in accordance with the rights and licenses granted under these Contest Rules.
General Conditions. G3 reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest. G3’s decisions regarding all aspects of the Contest are final and binding.
Limitation of Liability. By participating in the Contest and to the fullest extent permitted by law, You expressly waive any right to recover any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or statutory damages, lost profits, emotional distress damages, attorneys' fees, or any other monetary or equitable relief from G3 arising out of or relating to the Contest or any use of Your photograph, likeness, name, image, voice, biographical information, or other publicity materials authorized under these Contest Rules.
You further waive and release any and all claims based upon rights of privacy, rights of publicity, false endorsement, misappropriation of likeness, defamation, portrayal in a false light, moral rights, or any similar personal or proprietary rights arising from G3’s exercise of the rights granted under these Contest Rules. The foregoing release, waiver, and limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law. The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
